What the tourist trek to The Plitviče Lakes and Triglav includes:
Mountain: The Julian Alps
Route: Sofia – The Plitviče Lakes – Ljubljana – Triglav National Park – Lake Bled – Zagreb
Sofia – The Plitviče Lakes (8 hours)
Early departure from Sofia – 6:30 a.m. from the car park of Sportna Sofia at the tennis tables in Borisova Garden. After about 9 hours of travelling we find accommodation in the area of the Plitviče Lakes.
The Plitviče Lakes – Ljubljana (3.5 hours)
We visit Plitviče Lakes National Park.
After lunch, we leave for Ljubljana, where we will take a walk around the city.
We spend the night at a hotel.
Ljubljana – Triglav National Park
Transfer to the Julian Alps.
The first landmark which we will see in Triglav National Park is the exceptional Peričnik Waterfalls (52 m high).
We check into Aljaž Lodge (1,100 m).
Duration – 4 hours.
Aljaž Lodge – Planika Lodge (2,300 m)
We start a 7-hour trek with various landscapes and technical sections.
We spend the night in the lodge.
Duration – 7 hours.
Triglav Peak – Aljaž Lodge
From Planika Lodge to the peak it takes about two hours.
We enjoy the panorama from the top. We go back to collect the rest of our baggage.
Then, we descend to Aljaž Lodge.
Duration – 8 hours.
Aljaž Lodge – Lake Bled – Zagreb
Lake Bled is a popular tourist destination on the Balkans.
Visit to Bled Castle (entrance fee – 6 Euro).
Transfer to Zagreb, where we spend the night.
Duration – 8 hours.
After breakfast we leave for Bulgaria and arrive in Sofia in the evening (800 km).
Price: 250 EUR per person.
Price includes – guide services and guided tours.
Travel is shared.
The approximate price for a night is 15 Euro and is paid when we get there. Important: Departure and travel times are approximate and they depend on the pace of the whole group. These also include time for rest.
The guide has the right to change the route upon unexpected circumstances!
