The Durmitor – Bobotov kuk – Canyon Nevidio
What is included in The Durmitor – Bobotov kuk – Canyon Nevidio trek:
We leave from Sofia at 7:30 a.m.
We will be travelling to the town of Žabljak in Montenegro for about 8-9 hours.
On the way, we will have a closer look at the canyon of the emerald blue Tara River.
Accommodation in Žabljak.
The Durmitor National Park is located in the north-west of Montenegro. It has been proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It takes up an area of 390 sq. m.
Our trek starts from Black Lake (Crno jezero), and little by little we will enter the Durmitor National Park. The mountain is exceptionally small, but boasts a multitude of sharp peaks and pinnacles in marble and granite (a total of 40). In the forested area, as well as in the area before the Alps, there is impressive biological diversity.
Around 4 p.m. we are expected to reach the highest peak of Mount Durmitor – Bobotov Kuk (2,523 m).

We camp in the wild near the lake of Zeleni Vir (2,050 m).
Duration – 8 hours.
Descent to Žabljak through the peak of Savin Kuk.
We will pass through the remarkably beautiful ripple-marked sedimentary crests of Šareni Pasovi.
Going down, we will be enjoying the magnificent scenery on the other side of the mountain.
Continuation – 6 hours.
Next, we will travel to the village of Petnjica, where we will spend the night.
Canyoning through the canyon of the Mala Komarnica River and the Nevidio Canyon.
This is an exceptional experience, filled with adrenalin, where you will be climbing, jumping, diving, swimming and sliding on natural slides.
The price of this pleasure is 80 Euro – it includes a guide for the canyon, equipment, video and photos.
We will spend the night at a camp site.
Duration – 5 hours.
After breakfast, we leave back for Bulgaria.
Price: 250 EUR per person.

The guide has the right to change the route upon unexpected circumstances!
The approximate price for a night is 10 Euro and is paid when we get there.
